Very old ship by celine11

We stayed in a Grand Suite. The room was big and comfortable. Very noisy when the seas were rough because everything in the room crackled.

The cabin was a decent size but was very tired and not very clean. The beds were so hard we could not sleep. I did not expect this in the Grand Suite. We had been in an ocean view before and the beds were bad but this was a surprise that Grand Suite beds were just as bad. I ended up on the vinyl couch to get a little sleep. The really bad part was the raw sewage smell which was so strong that it overwhelmed the room when we tried to step out onto the balcony. Bad smells even seeped through the air conditioning vents. It was not good. I can still smell the sewage which if you have ever smelled a bad diaper you have a good idea what it was like.

Beds were very hard as mentioned above: First night, after my eldest son all of 6'4 was attempting to pull out the sofa sleeper in the GS Suite we called room service to make sure we wouldn't damage anything, our response was after 9:00pm they couldn't assist, we would need to wait until tomorrow.

Here's the clincher, my sons are 6'2 and 6'4 while going on the balcony the light fixer fell from the ceiling, it was low enough and heavy enough to have hit one of them in the skull, which could have sent him overboard, myself included. 48 hours after reporting this issue the fixture was seated back in the ceiling still un-secure. I told my sons to stay off the balcony.

Service was not good at all due to what I mentioned above.

Beautiful balcony, spacious and comfortable for a family of four! Refrigerator and walk in closet! Decent bathroom (jacuzzi tub). Shower pressure was not much. Very comfortable rollout bed for kids (13,15) TV was excellent (flat screen) Mini Bar if needed (we didn't use it). Excellent lighting.  Read entire member review.

The suite is a bit smaller than a regular hotel room. They have a balcony that honestly made the trip! The bed can be configured into two twins or a king. The couch pulls out and compared to the other rooms, the suite has decent space. Worth the money, sure. our steward Semadi rocked!

Grand suite has a full walk-in closet, king size bed, jacuzzi tub (not big enough for 2), big balcony and living room area with an "L" shaped sectional sofa. Book a veranda room and upgrade to the Grand Suite for an excellent bargain.  Read entire member review.
14 Days of Paradise by FlaParrotHead
On this class of Carnival ship for such a long sailing (14-days) it was great to have the added space of the Grand Suite. The room, balcony, closet space, and bathroom are all oversized for a ship of this age. While this ship had very few balconies (or suites) - those with interior and/or ocean view staterooms all seems to have great sailing as well, and that is the bottom line for any sailing.  Read entire member review.
Nice size for three adults. We had Grand Suite with balcony. Not impressed with bathroom..slow sink and leaking shower. Good warm shower.  Read entire member review.
First time cruise by Nascar21n8
great room, hallway very quiet, a few spots on carpets but over all very nice and accommodating cabin U90 and U88 The closets was a plus and very roomy overall. balcony was a plus and wonderful especially for some down time and just to get away.  Read entire member review.

Our room was the largest that we could get. We had 4 adult women and we never felt crowded. We had 2 twin beds and a sofa that folded out into a queen bed. I would have liked more storage for clothing and more outlets for our abundance of flat irons, hair dryers, phone chargers, etc. Of course the logistics of 4 women and one bathroom goes without saying. The room felt dated with mirrored walls and pink ceiling, but for us it just added to the swanky, party feel of our cruise.

Paradise GS U97 - Great cabin. Lots of room , King Bed , Sofa area , large bathroom with tub , large balcony. Located midship almost directly between center elevator banks , so easy access to both ends of ships

An honest review by sinkhole

Large walk in closet, large bathroom, comfortable sofa, balcony too small for a suite.

Nice sized suite, Ventilation wasn't the best, could smell smokers next door when inside. Room was either hot or cold had a hard time regulating the air. For a suite it's was just OK. Bathroom showed considerable wear on the fixtures and floor. Same with the balcony. Bed wasn't the most comfortable. Would have expected more out of a suite.  Read entire member review.
