We had little to no complaints about our room. The promenade view did not really add much value, but we were in the back of the ship. Someone in the middle may have had a better experience with their view. We had two adjoining rooms, one for the kids and one for my wife and I. Between the two rooms, there was more than enough space for the whole family.

This was the first time we have experienced a promenade cabin, we were pleasantly surprised, seemed to be more roomy than the balcony cabins we have had. It was very quiet, just had to remember to close curtains when getting changed.

This is a tiny room, with a tiny closet (singular) and both tiny and few drawers. The "Bay window overlooking the Royal Promenade" exists only in the imagination of the marketing department. Bed was OK, bath small but adequate, supplies (after I discussed with our GREAT cabin Steward) were more than ample. They have a new policy for rooms: If you are a GOLD card holder (RCCL frequent cruiser) you get both a robe and ice bucket. If not, you don't. A bride to the Steward took care of that. Again, very petty, and not a way to encourage repeat cruises.  Read entire member review.
It was our first time in a promenade cabin. We actually liked it. The location was great. The only night we heard anything from below was Disco Night. But it only lasted 45 minutes..and it really wasn't loud enough to be disturbing.  Read entire member review.
#6557 Promenade view room. Great location..very central. Right across from the cafe promenade and an ok view during the parades. Zero noise. Tiny tiny bathroom, and only toward the end did we realize we could stow our suitcases under the bed. we crammed everything into the closet.  Read entire member review.

Cabin location was very good. It was quiet even though it had a window overlooking the Promenade. Room layout was functional. Best of all, the bed was very comfortable.  Read entire member review.

Cabin 7283 - overlooking promenade midships. perfect central location to get to either end of ship. very quiet as one side is adjacent to a storage cupboard. Most families on lower decks so passage is very quiet. noise outside window to promenade is hardly noticeable but usually stops after 12.00 midnight.Plenty of storage and drawers, with great seating around the window area. Fridge was a bit dicky but not needed by us. good coffee making facilities but bring own instant coffee and get fresh milk and sugar from cafe each day.  Read entire member review.

The cabin was great and the attendant couldn't do enough. The cabin was very roomy and over looked the promenade and it was very quiet, I would recommend this cabin highly, I met a couple who were in the room above the Pig and Whistle and they said it was very noisy from the music and singing and wouldn't use it again

Great Time on Voyager by tannedwahine
Great cabin overlooking the cafe promenade. Good people watching, the decor could use a re-furb as its a bit dated. I think all promenade cabins still have the older teal wood coloring so really that's no complaint specific to this cabin. Shower had the doors as opposed to the older curtains which was great. Quiet after 11pm when all royal promenade activities were done. Good location and close to forward stairs/elevators, but not so close as to hear very much traffic in the halls.  Read entire member review.
We were in Promenade cabine 7559; a little larger than the typical inside and a better furniture arrangement, that seemed to add space to the room. There;'s a bit of noice from the Promenade below, but it comes to a halt by 11 p.m. A better value than a typical inside.  Read entire member review.
Average size stateroom. Overlooks can't really hear anything unless there is a parade going on (then you can hear the bass music pumping through the thick windows.) Closet on one side of the room, neighbors on the other but you never heard them. We have learned to bring a fan to drown out any hallway noise....totally worked! Never heard anything in the hallway. Halfway between aft and forward elevators. Seventh floor is easy enough to take stairs to gym/Windjammer. Nice to have library and internet access on this level.  Read entire member review.
Our room overlooked the Royal Promenade. We have had balcony and the no-frills rooms before... but this is what we will look for next time. The window overlooking the Promenade was great. We could always see what was going on from the comfort of our room. The shower is tight for my large frame, but it had great pressure and seemingly unlimited hot water. I highly recommend the Promenade rooms.  Read entire member review.
Nice cruise, good value by chris_kelowna
Our cabin was a connecting cabin but we never heard any noise from next door. The window faced Guest Services and with the exception of two parades, we never heard any noise from the Promenade. There was no noise from upstairs. It was close to the elevators, well situated.  Read entire member review.
Inconsistent Voyager by lasportsnut
I had a Promenade room overlooking the Promenade. It was like heaven. Big bay-window with a sofa bench so I could sit at the window and look out over the happenings on the Promenade. I had a sofa bed and the usual twins put together to form a queen. Closet space was adequate for me but might have been tight if I had a companion traveling w/m. Drawer space was so tiny I left underwear, T shirts, shorts and sox in my bag until I used them. The bathroom was adequate and very clean. The standard desk was adequate for me. There was a small table in front of sofa bed that probably didn't need to be there as it took up valuable space. I was in Rm. 7609. Oh the noise level in the room- Well can't tell you cause I was down on the Promenade making the noise when it was happening. Not much noise at 2 am on the Promenade  Read entire member review.
Liked our cabin 8257, inside but overlooking the Royal Promenade. Much smaller than the balcony cabin we had last year. Quite a tight squeeze coming into the entry door, and not much spare room for anything. The furnishings are dated, old TV, and worn out furniture. Bed was comfy and good.  Read entire member review.
Room was quiet. Had plumbing problems in this particular room throughout our cruise. Service was great.  Read entire member review.
Helen's 60th onboard VOS by Helen Frederiksen

We loved our Promenade Stateroom and I loved the revamped curtains and carpet. It is roomy enough for us with plenty of room for our clothes and belongings. It is also very quiet and I love peeking out the window into the Promenade to see what is happening.

Would book this one again. Cool place to people watch, can see down the atrium, quiet, no noise from Promenade except on New Years Eve. Light can be intrusive if curtains are left open. Connecting cabins are fabulous, two bathrooms for four people.  Read entire member review.
SO VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!! by Beyondattraction
Stateroom -- 8559 -- Inside Promenade State Room mid Ship This ship is huge so it is very daunting when you arrive onboard and are trying to find your stateroom. When I arrived to my room, the room was fine and had everything I needed. Storage was adequate for me and my son, the bathroom was a bit small but it was good for what we needed it for. There was a mini bar in the fridge stocked with soft drinks but was not switched on so you could not keep milk or drinks cold. There is a kettle in the room which was a surprise and came in very handy for my morning coffee first thing in the morning. I just used the UHT milk that was provided. Don't expect any toiletries; there isn't any only a small bar of soap and a soap dispenser in the shower. There are also no bath robes in the cabin. My cabin attendant Lee was excellent and went out of his way to really look after my son. He made up our room twice a day morning and night and anticipated our needs. He was excellent.  Read entire member review.
The PR cabin is a little smaller than most at 152 sq. ft.  All the Voyager class PR cabins only sleep two.  It is okay for two.  There is no noise problem.  Even where there were parades in the Royal Promenade I didn't hear a thing.  However, the windows are not one way.  So if you don't want the people across the hall looking in, you have to close your drapes.  And of course, like all inside cabins, you have to leave your cabin to find out what it is like outside.    Read entire member review.
Life is Better Cruising! by Crusin'Cousins
Centrally located... surrounded by cabins, not loud spaces. Sounds from the Promenade below were never a concern. Views of the Promenade are a plus over a standard inside cabin. Nice!  Read entire member review.
