First Cruise! by Dcd1953

Our cabin was spotlessly clean with a nicely built-in desk/makeup vanity with a large, well lit mirror. The bed was very comfortable. I was prepared to feel confined, but wasn't at all, the bathroom is small, but not uncomfortably so. There is plenty of hanger space in the chifferobes. I was concerned at our location near an elevator, but there was no noise at all. The most noise we encountered was the group across the hall, partying with their door open. Our steward and his assistants were very pleasant. They remembered our names and greeted us whenever we left or arrived at our cabin.

Nice cabin, plently of stoarge, very clean and good sized. Close to crew area but not noisy. Centrally located, easy access to all parts of ship.  Read entire member review.

Loved it! by cruzin with the kidz
Perfect location! Close to main atrium and excellent location for access to Serenity area! Cabin steward couldn't have been better! 2 upper bunk beds. Quiet with not much movement.  Read entire member review.

Never Again on This Cruise by Multi-Time Cruiser
Easy to find, spacious interior, but the bathroom was bad!  Read entire member review.

Small for a family of four. One upper bunk folds down, then a cot is under it, basically on the floor. Have to climb over adults' bed to get to the window, or step on the cot. Not noisy. Great location, right off the main lobby, but not too close.  Read entire member review.

Our cabin was small, especially the beds, but we expected that. Our cabin steward was friendly and competent. He did everything he could to make our stay enjoyable.

A relaxing vacation! by cheerfuldougg
Great for the price. Lots of closet and storage space. The full sized window was great. Very quiet. TV offered lots of channels and some good first run movies, but quality of picture and sound was very poor.  Read entire member review.

Cabin: Typical cabin for Carnival no complaints. Just remember to bring a power strip as there is only one outlet in the room. We packed very light and there was plenty of room for our clothes. The room steward was friendly and took good care of us. We gave him an extra tip for his services. We always get the inside cabin. Just put a towel at the bottom of the door and it is really dark. The best sleep ever.

Third times a charm! by tampabrat22
Decent size closet, luggage space under your bed, the beds are COMFY, way at the end of the ship, could feel every motion in this cabin, not good if you get seasick easily!  Read entire member review.

M299: more narrow than the other inside cabins that say they are for 4 people. But close to elevator. M148: Different floor plan, more open than other inside cabins but white pole in the middle. Closet is across room from the door instead of when you enter Can't put twins together, pole made roll away difficult-couldn't center it to have space to walk around. Otherwise good for 2.  Read entire member review.

We had an inside cabin, good size. At times you could hear people from the outside but only if they were running or yelling. Never heard any noise from the surrounding cabins. The beds were amazing, the best part of the room actually. The bunks not so much. The room service was great, very fast. the cleaning crew did a great job. cabin always cleaned, and restocked.....  Read entire member review.

We had an inside cabin with 5 people. In the past we have all had only one cabin. It had 2 beds together and 2 bunk beds.A rollerway was offered but refused due to we wouldn't have had any  floor space at all.(Thank goodness we aren't big people). The cabin was tiny for all of us.Of course that is our fault we didn't book two cabins. We wanted 2 cabins but were late booking and there was no 2 cabins near or on same deck. The bathroom smelled even after cleaning.I swore if I went by a store I was going to buy a can of Lysol.Never did.I used perfume to cover smell. Our cabin was quiet except when porting it made the vibration noise. We were in E247 AFT.We had easy access to dining area which was right above us.I was more comfortable for the kids to run up stairs to eat instead of all the way across the ship. The faucets in shower got too hot and was hard to control temp.So my youngest daughter used cold water, which was luke warm. There were 2 dispensers in shower stall one for shampoo and other for bodywash.Neither was labeled.I used my own.The temperature of our cabin was comfortable.  Read entire member review.

We had an inside cabin. One thing we have enjoyed about Carnival is the layout of their cabins. Although comparative in size to those on Royal Caribbean, they just seem better laid out. More space to move around the bed.  Read entire member review.

We had two cabins ajoining, one was a suite where our two small grandkids stayed with their parents, my wife and I in the other, a window cabin for two persons. Compared with other cabins we have had, it was fine, the TV worked. Everyone in our group thought the beds were really comfortable. The cabin service we got in room U116 was very poor; he had hours only during the day it seemed, and we could not get help at other times. I regret the tipping system as it now exists. The suite, U114 was very nice and roomy, with an especially large veranda or balcony.  Read entire member review.

Floating Fun by luv2cruiseallday
Our room had one large Queen or King sized bed on the floor and two twin bed that pulled down from the wall but needed a ladder to climb up on. I slept in one of the pull out beds the first night, and it was horrible because the bed was shaking so much from the ship vibration.  Read entire member review.

Good cabin, only missed the full length mirror, and hair blower. Nice bath towels waiting in the closet for us. Can put your luggage under the bed.  Read entire member review.

Do not get a room without some kind of view. Trust me you will feel claustrophobic.Buty you are never in there. Rooms were very clean which to me was very important. We had a big oceanview window which was nice waking up and seeing the ocean.  Read entire member review.

R61 & R52

R52- 17yr and 19 yr shared. Bunk beds. They loved it. Not a lot of swaying

R61- little more swaying, more room than it remembered. Bring a power cord if you want to charge your phone and plug anything else in.

We brought walkie talkies that helped a ton! Remember no cell service while cruising. Bought on Amazon $45

R-94 on the Riviera Deck was a great location - both for getting around and for ship rocking/movement. We were very comfortable and centrally located. This cabin does not have a blow dryer or fridge or one of those magnifying mirrors that some have. Other than those items, it's just like any other stateroom I have been in. As always, not enough hangers, so I brought some. Also, one outlet - over the sink in the bathroom, so not good for plugging in hair equipment. The other, in the room, only one plug. I recommend bringing an extension cord. Also, see my review comments about the thermostat.  Read entire member review.

U26 - Nice cabin, but too close to the lounge. The bass guitar and drum could be heard quite easily.  Read entire member review.

We had an ocean view cabin on the U deck. Our cabin was always clean and had been updated. The robes provided were very nice as well as the bed linens. Bathroom facilities were great for a 5 day cruise and we had plenty of closet space.  Read entire member review.

The Cabin
We really enjoyed the balcony and extra space in the Grand Suite. It’s odd that Carnival offers no suite perks, aside from priority embarkation, but hey, we save a lot of money sailing with Carnival so I get it. I did have a hard time with the fact that there wasn’t even free bottled water with the suite, but again, no biggie.
Our son slept on the full size pull out couch – it was a huge bed for a couch arrangement, and still left plenty of room to walk around the suite when the bed was fully extended and made.

The Jacuzzi tub in the room was really nice, but rather narrow. I’m petite and when I was showering, the tub felt super narrow (like my feet were pressed up against the edges), but it was SO nice to be able to bathe our son, and relax in the tub rather than the standard small shower routine.

Here’s a little video tour of the room:
