Happy First-Timers by loosendz
Great cabin with a good view and great accessibility to common areas through the rear staircase!  Read entire member review.

surprisingly a lot of "space" for stuff in such a tiny room. Loved all the closets and that we could shove our suitcases under the bed. Important to bring a power strip or know that you will have to time your "charging" of electronics as there is only one outlet. It was tight for a family of 5 - but we did ok and didn't even kill each other in the tight quarters! :)  Read entire member review.

We were on deck 7 in an outside room -forward room E30. Loved our location- close to the elevators, the lobby and easy access to everything, but far enough down the hall to have a quiet room. The room was much larger than we anticipated as was the bathroom. There was tons of closet space and our suitcases stored under the bed. Speaking of the bed, we thought it was quite comfortable and there were plenty of pillows. Our son slept in the drop down bed and it did not feel claustrophobic at all for any of us especially with the big fabulous window overlooking the Pacific. I had read somewhere to book an even numbered outside room and they were right- port side was great.  Read entire member review.
E50
E50 is standard fare Inspiration ocean view cabin, however this one is conveniently located on the Empress deck only a few feet from the main lobby bar, purser's desk, shore excursion desk, and wireless internet public area. As with all Carnival cabins, everything refurbished (Sep 2007), upgraded decorations, bedding, etc., The bathrooms are especially clean, colorful, and efficient.  Read entire member review.

Good First Cruise by azsomeone

Cabin on U level - mid ship. Quiet. 2 good sized closets with robes! 3rd closet area with a safe and shelves. Only one outlet so bring a power strip. Shower was a nice size. Hot water and water pressure were good. No problems with sewer gas smells. Beds were pretty comfortable! Can be arranged as twins or as a king. Had a window which was great for letting in natural light (but they do not open). Floor was really quiet. Close to stairs.

Good closet space, good location, we had a connecting door and didn't need it I think that made it so we could hear alittle more noise from our neighbors.  Read entire member review.

Room seemed small, but the 4 bed layout was very efficient. Closets were ample but would have liked a little more drawer space. Also, the location of the closets made it impossible to enter and leave or use the bathroom while the doors were open. Bathrooms were great. Wish we had a hair dryer, and the one we brought didn't work in the bathroom outlet. The television was preset to come on LOUDLY every time, so no sneaking it on in the middle of the night, and there were no captions to watch quietly. The outside of the windows were salty throughout the trip so the view was distorted. The TV couldn't be tipped or turned and when all the beds set out we couldn't see the screen from the bed. The people in the hallway were LOUD for short periods of time every night, and there was a music speaker in the hall ceiling just outside our door that was just loud enough to be annoying all night unless we turned the vent up for white noise. Since the weather during our trip was rather chilly, the air conditioning pumped into our room made it really cold. The room steward had to call a mechanic to come and close the vents for us because we couldn't close them all the way with our controls. The room was always clean and neat.  Read entire member review.

Spacious room. Clean bathroom in good repair. View from window was good but not on the best side for this itinerary. Also windows desperately needed to be cleaned.  Read entire member review.

Great Cozumel Cruise! by Newbie_Cruiser_GA
U158...mid-ship. Good location. We had 4 in our room. A little tight, but we were not in the cabin much. Had 2 teenage boys with hubby and myself. The boys would shower in the gym, so we never had to fight for the bathroom. Only heard other people once. Someone let their child 2 cabins down jump off the bed...repeatedly. No other noise. No motion at all. Liked the location because we could walk up or down one or 2 flights and not have to wait for the elevator. We were closer to the back of the ship and could run back to the room after dinner or during comedy shows.  Read entire member review.
