Cabin 3640
Aug 2016
We chose to save money with a lower floor stateroom, but with a large porthole and ocean view. We were not disappointed, and the cabin attendant was great. There was plenty of storage space, and we were close to the embarkation deck. The room wasn't designed to "hang out" and read. We used the quiet public rooms on Decks 6 and 13 for all of that. We would choose this category again.

Great Itinerary! By: Hvnfuninmn33
This cabin is the last cabin forward and under the theater. We did hear the music from the theater during the late show. Also, it is located next to the door for employees to enter into their area so there was some noise from that area. Also, being in the front of the ship it was very loud during the dropping of the anchors. I didn't think that there was much motion so that was not a factor. It is a walk back and forth from one end of the ship to the other so I would book a cabin closer to the center in the future. Lots of storage in the rooms; did not feel cramped with two of us.

Our room was good. Attention should be given to dusting.

The cabin was very nice. The bathroom in particular had a weird sewer like smell sometimes. The showers were pretty small and there was a little mildew behind the faucet head. Besides that I enjoyed my stay in the room. The attendant was very nice, a little nosy but very nice and helpful. He made a towel monkey for my mothers room after cleaning :)

We stayed in a basic cabin with ocean view in Deck 2, which we thought offered enough space for both of us and our luggage. Impressively, even though our stateroom was located very near the elevators and the area where the Centrum is located (which could get very noisy during the evenings), outside noise didn’t bother us at all.
