The cabin was reasonably spacious but gave the appearance of being grubby. There were only bottled toiletries in the bathroom and the floor was dirty. The air con was VERY noisy and windy and the cabin was very cold. When the air con was switched off the noise from the swimming pool and jacuzzi above were like a water torture. There were ample hangers and wardrobe space. The bed was very uncomfortable and on investigation we discovered the bed base was corrugated metal, it was like lying on pebbles. Underneath the bed was filthy with debris left behind. The balcony had a huge overhang so no sun could penetrate to the seating area. We had 24 hours without heat with an outside temperature of 4 degrees. Two nights we had no water to bathe or do ablutions.
Room service breakfast was poor, only tinned fruit served and miniature pastries. Tea arrived as two pots of hot water and no tea bag, coffee was always cold. Read entire member review >>
Very spacious, we actually had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. We had the larger cabin as there were 8 in our party and we had plenty of room to all meet. It was a special occasion that justified the extra expense! Read entire member review >>
Cabin 7023 is adequate for a cruise in which the weather is good and most of your time can be spent on deck. The balcony is not large enough to accommodate loungers (it has two chairs and a table) and is significantly overhung by the edge of Deck 8 but if you prefer shade it is fine. If you get a visit from the ship's cat you won't be able to swing it in the shower! And the safe is very small. For example it would not take a jewellery box. The indoor seating is not comfortable for any period consisting of a curved fixed bench type seat. Read entire member review >>

These are moderated message boards. What this means is that we do our best to remove all objectionable messages from the boards. It also means that you cannot say whatever you'd like on the forums. If you are looking for an "anything goes" setting, Cruise Critic might not be the place for you. Understand, too, that our community is comprised of folks who LOVE to cruise. It therefore stands to reason that they will have a favorite cruise line or port of call -- in other words, they are "fans" and will sometimes take offense when a brand new member has arrived on the scene to bash a cruise line.
