‘s recent transatlantic cruise aboard Disney Magic
Overall Impression: Slightly skeptical about spending so much time at sea, sunnyinchagrin was proven wrong after a recent transatlantic cruise aboard Disney Magic. It was a far cry from the tedious, boring voyage they feared when planning to try something new.
Onboard Highlight: Professor Chuck’s lectures — although you can’t go wrong with any of the lecturers onboard, as all programs make for a fun lesson highlighting the depths of the sea and everything you can do once onshore.
Port Highlight: Snorkeling at Castaway Cay, although sunnyinchagrin recommends purchasing your own snorkeling equipment (if possible) to save money and high rental fees.
Don’t Miss: Waking up early to watch the harbor pilot jump on and off the ship from the pilot boat.
Watch Out For: Lectures on shopping, which tend to lead to tourist traps. Sunnyinchagrin recommends sticking where the locals shop for authentic souvenirs.
