“For my wife and myself, Crystal Cruises is similar to a fine wine that keeps getting better and better with each passing year,” Cruise Critic member Keith1010 proclaimed, following his 120-plus-day journey aboard Crystal Serenity.
From chilly January to balmy May, Keith1010 and his wife called the 68,000-ton, 1,070-passenger ship home.
The cruise marked their seventh world voyage. It also became their favorite for a number of reasons:
The onboard enrichment was one for the books, mainly due to the passenger diversity on this cruise. As far as entertainment, the chemistry between the performers was apparent on stage and made for memorable shows. Of course, the unique itinerary was a huge drawing factor.
Ports rich in history and culture dotted Crystal Serenity’s maps of Europe, Africa, Asia and beyond. It was a special experience for Keith1010 and his wife — only embellished by the service, cuisine and overall ambiance they had grown to love on Crystal’s ships.
With another cruise on Crystal Serenity scheduled for this September, a 2015 world cruise and a few in between, Keith1010 and his wife have many more seasons to look forward to. Read Keith1010’s full review for more details about life onboard the ship.
For their efforts, Keith1010 and four other Reviewers of the Week — Aerun, BURNSMN, mojomorris, and mguernsey — receive Cruise Critic logo items.
