Cruise Critic Live! We Chat About Shore Excursions

May 10, 2014 | By | 3 Comments

Every Thursday at 3 p.m. (Eastern), Cruise Critic Live! takes a look at all the things to love about cruising, from favorite destinations to amazing dining experiences to the latest and greatest new ships on the oceans and rivers. We also welcome outside experts including cruise line CEOs and newsmakers.
Next week, we’ll be chatting about shore excursions. What are some of the best excursions in the ports you’re planning to visit? Should you book independently or through your cruise line? Stop by, ask us your questions, and tell us about some of the amazing shore tours you’ve taken. Don’t forget to bookmark the page.
Can’t make the chat on Thursday, May 15 at 3 p.m.? Please feel free to submit questions ahead of time, and we’ll make sure to get your answers. The chat will be archived, and available, after it winds up.

We are looking to book an excursion in Florence with ‘Cruise Excursions Italy’ but are concerned that there are not lots of Trip advisor comments on this company, and would like to know if Cruise Critic has ever had any feedback on this company. The ‘Florence City Tour’ sounds great but just concerned.

Isn’t one of Cruise Critic’s significant raisons d’etre do-it-yourself shore excursions? It’s why I was attracted and hope to meet others via the roll call to pool our ideas.

St. Petersburg: Is there an excursion to the Hermitage for 1-2 days?
