“If you’ve thought it would be fun to stand barefoot on the deck of a sailing ship, with the wind in your hair and the sun on your face and the sails popping overhead… you’re right.” That’s how member ttisdale responded to his recent cruise aboard Island WindjammersSagitta.
He and his wife had yearned for an intimate getaway to less-traveled islands in the Caribbean. And the small sailing ship delivered just that.

Visits to Anguilla’s well-preserved Shoal Bay and St. Bart’s chic Gustavia were among the exhilarating ports of call and made for fun exploring off the ship.
Back onboard, passengers gathered on the deck with ice-cold beers in hand to share stories while soaking up the warm salty breeze.
In the end, ttisdale realized he gained much more than just a vacation. Within those six days, 24 strangers felt more like family when it came time to part ways. Until they return, ttisdale and his wife have vivid memories to reflect upon and share with fellow members, who may be longing for something a little different.
Read ttisdale’s full review to learn about Lenny’s meals and more on their adventures in port. For their efforts, ttisdale and four other Reviewers of the Week — Havinsnest, CaribbeanBound, mscasdorph, and Boris-n-Natasha — receive Cruise Critic logo items.
