A Girlfriend Getaway

Royal Princess
What do two busy moms do when they need a break? Book a girlfriend getaway, of course! With a friend, readyforsun19 tried Princess for the first time, choosing an Eastern Caribbean itinerary on Royal Princess.
A mini-suite, with two TVs and plenty of movies, suited the women just fine (closets provided enough space for the “two diva girls”). A weeklong pass to the Sanctuary, along with room service late breakfasts, made their time sans kids even more relaxing.
In the evenings, readyforsun19 and her pal turned into karaoke machines, thanks to encouraging staff and a few new friends. Shopping and snorkeling in port made up for a disappointing pool experience.
Read readyforsun19’s full review for more details about her cabin under the Seawalk and entertainment. For their efforts, readyforsun19 and four other Reviewers of the Week — agathasmum, samina, JerseyGirl19, and darienil — receive Cruise Critic logo items.
