Steal of the Week: Choose Your Bonus With Azamara

February 27, 2014 | By | No Comments

Everyone is looking for the deal of the century. So how do you choose the one that’s right for you? Check the Lido Deck each week to get the scoop on our favorite deals — then grab the phone and pack your bags.
THE DEAL: Azamara Club Cruises is offering Choices, Choices Choices — their take on the popular choose-your-own bonus program — which allows you to pick $1,000 in onboard credit per couple, $1,000 in air credits per couple or a free cabin upgrade.

WHAT WE LOVE: Part of this year’s trends, this is another promotion that’s focused on cruiser’s choice. Azamara’s version provides a $1,000 value with your choice of onboard credit, air credit or cabin upgrade, when you book by March 31. What’s great about this offer is that Azamara is a line that already includes a lot of amenities in their cruise fare; your standard rate includes beverages, gratuities, laundry facilities, shuttle services, concierge services, and their signature AzAmazing Evenings. With such a high onboard credit offer, you won’t have much, if anything, to budget for while on the ship.
WHAT GIVES US PAUSE: If you’re looking to cruise this line, this bonus offers a great incentive to book by the end of wave season. However, you needn’t be dazzled by the first choose-your-bonus program that you see. The idea is expanding across major cruise lines, so keep any eye out for value adds that may make the most sense for you and your cruising style.
