Video: Street Runners Take On Cruise Ship

February 25, 2014 | By | No Comments

They’re back – and they’re better than ever. The 3RUN team which wowed the world last year – running and jumping all over Thomson Dream – have been brought back to show off the ship’s new home port of Jamaica. And this time they’ve teamed up with one of the few people who can give them a run for their money.
The Freerunners – who have also appeared in Casino Royale and World War Z – joined Jamaican Olympic Medallist Yohan Blake to showcase the highlights of Montego Bay.
And this time they’ve taken their stunts even further – vaulting over Blake, running up Dunn’s River Falls, flipping over market stalls in Ocho Rios and diving from the cliffs in Negril, before jumping onto jet skis to chase Thomson Dream and scale its sides James Bond-style. They also manage to disrupt an onboard show – and alarm diners in the main restaurant!
UK Editor Adam Coulter caught up with 3RUN at an exclusive screening of the video last night in central London and asked whether any of the boys had slipped running up the famous waterfall – and were assured that they had not (but they had walked up first to check their route).
Thomson Dream sails from Montego Bay starts in December, and includes stops in Costa Rica, Panama, Cuba, Honduras, Belize and Mexico.
