Eleven days in Tahiti and the South Pacific is merely a dream for many. But to celebrate their 25th anniversary, member LarryFitz and his wife found a deal with Paul Gauguin Cruises they couldn’t pass up.
The longer duration of the cruise, including airfare, quality of food and service, and pre- and post-cruise agendas, not only came at a great value, but also eliminated the hassle of trying to plan each step on their own. Making new friends also came easy on the 332-passenger Paul Gauguin, which was booked just under capacity.
Throughout the cruise, the couple’s positive experiences surpassed minor gripes such as rough seas and a mediocre wine selection. The staff was exceptional, and the food (especially seafood appetizers in the main dining room) was some of the best LarryFitz ever had. Each port of call was special in its own way, but snorkeling adventures, authentic island barbecue and picture-perfect scenery in Aitutaki and Bora Bora easily were favorites.
