When MSC Cruises announced one of its ships would be sailing roundtrip from Miami, many American cruisers grew curious about how the Italian line would adjust to its North American surroundings. Member mkazmer was one of them. Although she and her husband had tried MSC before and decided it wasn’t for them, an outstanding offer for Divina made her reconsider the line for a seven-night Caribbean itinerary.
The ship itself gave them a whole new impression.
The cabin, albeit small, provided ample storage room and a comfortable shower. And dining was not what they remembered from past MSC cruises; the buffet was a pleasant surprise and they considered the service outstanding. Perhaps their most memorable experience onboard took place in the theater, with some of the best entertainment they had seen among their 40 previous cruises.
Despite all the pros, mkazmer doubts she and her husband will not step foot on another MSC ship; the active lifestyle it seemed to cater to is just a bit out of their comfort zone. She recommends it for families and younger passengers, however.
