Mother & Son’s Triumph of a Sailing

November 12, 2013 | By | No Comments

It had been too long since member JennSTX sailed aboard Carnival Triumph. So when she finally booked some bonding time with her seven-year-old son, it not only marked her third cruise on the ship, but also her first time since it had been revitalized with the “Fun Ship 2.0” upgrades.

Like a kid in a candy store, she reveled at all the changes made to familiar hangout spots (The pool with a new family-friendly shallow ledge and live shows became favorites.)
And the excitement only continued off the ship. Progresso made for the ultimate lazy day, with all-inclusive food and drinks on the resort beach and a scenic drive through the mangroves … while stingrays and pearls made up her time in Cozumel. Read JennSTX’s full review to find out how Carnival tipped her off to sought-after treasure.
For their efforts, JennSTX and four other Reviewers of the Week — lorihelms, gator489, Cubechick and wannaGoNorth — receive Cruise Critic logo items.
