THE DEAL: Carnival Cruise Lines is waiving their 200 percent single supplement on a number of sailings this year throughout the Bahamas, Caribbean and Mexico.
WHAT WE LOVE: A major cruise line waiving single supplements on this many sailings is almost unheard of. Carnival, beginning this September, is offering a number of cruises across their fleet and throughout tropical destinations including Ensenada, Cozumel or the Southern Caribbean, for just half of what a solo cruiser would normally dish out. Paying 100 percent of your cruise fare doesn’t sound like a deal to many, but for single cruisers who pay out a whopping 200 percent just to sail independently, it’s super savings and a good selection.
WHAT GIVES US PAUSE: With the promotional period undetermined, this offer can expire at any time, so there’s no safe booking window. While the sail dates vary, they are only through the end of the year. That means if you book now, you will be sailing in just three months to three weeks. Hard to believe, but 2013 is coming to and end and so is this offer. If you’re a solo cruiser and want to pocket some major savings on a popular line, do so soon!
