Steal of the Week: 4-Night Western Caribbean from $35/Night

September 12, 2013 | By | No Comments

Everyone is looking for the deal of the century. So how do you choose the one that’s right for you? Check the Lido Deck each week to get the scoop on our favorite deals — then grab the phone and pack your bags.
THE DEAL: Carnival Cruise Lines is offering a four-night Western Caribbean cruise onboard Carnival Imagination, sailing roundtrip from Miami on November 4, 2013. Prices start from $139 per person for an inside cabin.

WHAT WE LOVE: I don’t know about you, but I can’t fill my gas tank for $35 these days; that’s the nightly price per person for an upcoming November sailing of Carnival Imagination. Four nights to the Caribbean (Miami to Key West, then Cozumel), is a nice escape without the hassle, vacation days or expenses of a longer trip. Your inside fare of $139 gives you access to the adults-only Serenity deck for relaxation, mini-golf for fun, and plenty of late-night clubs and bar choices on the promenade deck.
WHAT GIVES US PAUSE: While not a last-minute cruise, this ship sails in less than two months. With the holidays drawing closer, some people may choose to save rather than spend on vacations. Unfortunately, early November is still within hurricane season, so a strike in the region may still be possible.
