Long before Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman melted our hearts in The Bucket List – the 2007 movie about two strangers diagnosed with cancer who form a bond over a piece of paper – the idea of achieving all the things you want to do before you die always has been an inspirational topic. (Of course, you don’t need an ultimatum to start crossing things off your list.)
Last week, we launched numerous slideshows — from Burma to Antarctica — and engaged in conversation on Facebook about all your future cruise plans. After rounding up the most popular itineraries based on our members’ thoughts, we wanted to know which cruise is at the top of everyone’s bucket list.
What we asked: Out of the following, which would be your ultimate bucket list cruise?
What they said: By a long shot, 70.45 percent of our members voted a world cruise would complete their bucket list. While packing in all your dream destinations seems like a no-brainer, you must be ready to spend at least 100 days on the water (we hope you don’t get seasick easily). Unless you accrue 10 times as many vacation days as the average employee, we recommend saving this one for after you retire.
