Steal of the Week: 7-Night Bermuda Cruise from $349

June 20, 2013 | By | 4 Comments

Everyone is looking for the deal of the century. So how do you choose the one that’s right for you? Check the Lido Deck each week to get the scoop on our favorite deals — then grab the phone and pack your bags.
THE DEAL: American Discount Cruises and Travel is offering a seven-night Bermuda cruise onboard Royal Caribbean’s Explorer of the Seas, sailing roundtrip from Cape Liberty on October 27, 2013. Prices start from $349, per person, for an inside cabin. Bonus amenities such as prepaid gratuities or onboard credit are available at booking.

WHAT WE LOVE: With the only port of call being Kings Wharf, you have more time to spend relaxing onboard a fantastically outfitted ship and getting to know one port, rather than scurrying from place to place, on this cruise. With almost three full days in Bermuda, you and the family have a chance to unwind. For sea days, Explorer of the Seas is optimized with entertainment and activities for cruisers of all ages. From $50 per person, per night, this rate just falls into our cheapest cruises category.
WHAT GIVES US PAUSE: If you’re traveling with children, the kids must to be willing to spend their Halloween away from home, although they will probably be having such a blast that the lack of fun-size candies in a plastic bucket won’t faze them too much. What might faze you is the possibility of weather-related difficulties; Bermuda in the fall is an area potentially threatened by hurricane season, which runs until mid-November.
HOW TO BOOK IT: For all the nitty-gritty on this deal (including that pesky fine print), click here. Compare flight prices with our sister site TripAdvisor’s meta-search tool.

      Hi Vanessa,

I noticed your comments and wanted to respond.

At the bottom of the Steal of the Week blog, there is a paragraph that reads “HOW TO BOOK IT: For all the nitty-gritty on this deal (including that pesky fine print), click here. Compare flight prices with our sister site TripAdvisor’s meta-search tool.”

If you follow the link, it will take you to the original deal being described (http://www.cruisecritic.com/bargains/news.cfm?NewsID=13891)

From there, you can follow a link to the provider of the deal, which is where you would book it. We only write about the deals, but do not sell them.

Thank you for your interest in Cruise Critic.

      Happy cruising!

How do you access the $349 for an inside cabin deal? Everytime I click on “How to Book It”-“click here” it comes up at starting at $519 for an inside cabin.
