Best Meals We Ever Ate Onboard a Cruise Ship

Best Cruise Meals
Cruise Critic’s staff gets around … the onboard food scene, that is. From the sublime (like indulgent Chef’s Table feasts) to the ridiculous (trying to eat four burgers in one sitting), we’ve collectively eaten it all.
To kick off Dining Week — when we’ll spend five days posting about all things cruise food-related — we thought we’d wax poetic about the greatest meals we’ve had onboard. We asked our staff to reminisce about a mind-blowing, life-altering, mouth-watering and stomach-sating culinary event, and share the juicy details with you. Some of us were wowed by the food; for others, a romantic setting or clever approach to food cooking and presentation really enhanced the flavors of the dishes.
So grab a bite to eat — you don’t want to read this on an empty stomach — and click through our slideshow for a trip through food heaven.

Princess Cruise burgers served in the dining room during lunch. Choice sirloin, grounded, and served on a homemade bun with crispy fries.
