Steal of the Week: Bahamas from $46/Night

May 30, 2013 | By | No Comments

Everyone is looking for the deal of the century. So how do you choose the one that’s right for you? Check the Lido Deck each week to get the scoop on our favorite deals — then grab the phone and pack your bags.
THE DEAL: Carnival Cruise Lines is offering a seven-night Bahamas cruise onboard Carnival Splendor, sailing roundtrip from New York on November 17, 2013. Prices start from $319, per person, for an inside cabin. Onboard credit and reduced deposits are available.

WHAT WE LOVE: It’s fun, it’s cheap and it’s a great chance to butter up the family before the hectic holidays. From under $50 per person, per night, sail to the Bahamas onboard one-of-a-kind Carnival Splendor. Three different port calls (Port Canaveral, Nassau and Freeport) offer pretty equal port and sea days. With Carnival’s holiday season promotion, book now and receive up to $50 in onboard credit along with half off deposits.
WHAT GIVES US PAUSE: Albeit the tail end of hurricane season, this sailing is still skirting the chance of getting caught up in some unsavory weather. Chances for a big storm might be slim in the Bahamas, but don’t forget that cruising in and out of New York harbor will be on the chilly side this time of year.
