Small ship aficionado mikesms found large amounts of satisfaction sailing the Caribbean onboard Oceania’s Riviera in its maiden year. Comparing the comforts of ship life with a previous cruise onboard Azamara Journey, mikesms found both atmospheres accommodating but afforded Riviera plenty of attributes to set it apart. From the gamut of gourmet restaurants including personalized culinary classes with Bon Apppetit, Binod, the exquisite butler, and a wrap-around aft owner’s suite, which afforded “many an afternoon and evening just watching the ocean go by,” mikesms and his wife would “gladly recommend an Oceania experience to anyone on the fence.” Read mikesms’ full review for how to get between St. Lucia’s Pitons in a fraction of the time and the most scenic place they found free Wi-Fi.
For his efforts, mikesms, along with the four other Reviewers of the Week — FiveString, superoma, Tampart1 and TaterGuy — receives a Cruise Critic logo item.
