Steal of the Week: Cruise the Western Caribbean From $60 Per Night

December 13, 2012 | By | No Comments

Everyone is looking for the deal of the century. So how do you choose the one that’s right for you? Check the Lido Deck each week to get the scoop on our favorite deals — then grab the phone and pack your bags.
THE DEAL: Cruise.com is offering a five-night Western Caribbean cruise aboard Celebrity Constellation, sailing roundtrip from Miami on January 7, 2013. Fares start at $299 per person for an inside cabin.

WHAT WE LOVE: It’s not too late to plan a last-minute Caribbean getaway on the cheap. This Celebrity cruise to Roatan and Cozumel is priced from $60 per person, per night, with outsides and balconies also coming in under $100 a night. Plus, you may be eligible to receive an additional $50 in onboard credit per cabin. The refurbished ship has quite a few fans, especially now that it’s received some Solstice-Class upgrades, including a new Martini Bar, Bistro on Five creperie, a gelateria and the Tuscan Grille Italian steakhouse.
WHAT GIVES US PAUSE: If you’re not driving to Miami, you’ll need to hurry up and book a plane ticket stat. You can compare flight prices on our sister site TripAdvisor’s meta-search tool. The cruise departs on a Monday, so you’ll need to use a week’s worth of vacation time for just a five-night trip.
HOW TO BOOK IT: For all the nitty-gritty on this deal (including that pesky fine print), click here.
