Poll Position: Turkey Time

November 26, 2012 | By | No Comments

If you’re reading this, it probably means you’ve got lots to be thankful for. (After all, between cruising and the Internet, what else could you possibly need?) In the spirit of Thanksgiving, we wanted to know which holiday food you’d like to gobble up on cruises every day of the year. So, we asked….
What we asked: Which Thanksgiving staple should always be served onboard?
What they said: Of more than 3,700 voters, 70 percent said turkey. Another 17 percent went with pumpkin pie. A further 9 percent opted for stuffing, and cranberry sauce garnered a mere 4 percent of the tally.
What it all means: Frankly, we’re not surprised since turkey is the nucleus of any Thanksgiving meal worth its salt. However, we’re partial to all of the above, as are most folks who weighed in on Facebook. Take a peek at some of the other, more creative answers, too — including Alka Seltzer, Florida football and sunshine — and be sure to leave your comments below.
