Steal of the Week: Cruise Across the Atlantic Over Thanksgiving From $54 Per Night

September 27, 2012 | By | No Comments

Everyone is looking for the deal of the century. So how do you choose the one that’s right for you? Check the Lido Deck each week to get the scoop on our favorite deals — then grab the phone and pack your bags.
THE DEAL: CruiseWise.com is offering a 13-night transatlantic cruise aboard Celebrity Reflection, sailing from Barcelona to Miami on November 18, 2012. Fares for an inside cabin start at $699 per person, outside cabins start from $889 and balconies from $799.

WHAT WE LOVE: From less than $54 per night, you can sail aboard a brand-new ship over the Thanksgiving holiday. If you have a little more in your budget, consider booking a balcony cabin as they’re currently selling for less than outside cabins. You might even be eligible to receive up to $125 in onboard credit, dependent on cabin category booked.
WHAT GIVES US PAUSE: While the itinerary features visits to three ports in Spain, it also includes a whopping nine days at sea. Reflection will have plenty of activities to entertain you onboard – from speaker series to cooking competitions, dance classes and spa treatments – but if you prefer exploring different destinations or get claustrophobic when you don’t see land for a week, this is not the cruise for you. Also, don’t let one-way airfare into Barcelona and out of Miami break your budget. You can compare flight prices on our sister site TripAdvisor’s meta-search tool.
