Face-Off: Battle of the Cruise Ship Godmothers

March 8, 2012 | By | No Comments

It’s new ship season, so it’s no surprise that an influx of newly minted godmothers is coming to the fore. Last week, diva extraordinaire Mariah Carey christened Disney Fantasy. And in the past few days two more names have surfaced. Priscilla Presley will oversee next month’s launch of American Queen in Memphis, home to Elvis’s Graceland and the new homeport of the refurbished paddle-wheeler. And “Iron Chef” Cat Cora will break the bottle of bubbly in May when Oceania’s Riviera debuts (click here to see some of the changes planned onboard). We’ve been thinking long and hard about godmoms lately, so we compiled a slideshow of our 13 favorites — and two we just don’t care for in the least. And tell us: How do you feel about the two new members of the Class of 2012? Vote below.
