Coming Next Week: Live From Voyager of the Seas!

November 11, 2011 | By | 4 Comments

We’re setting sail this weekend on Voyager of the Seas, formerly the largest cruise ship in the world and now the largest ship ever to homeport in New Orleans. Correspondent Elissa Leibowitz Poma will be onboard Voyager’s inaugural departure from the Big Easy and reporting live from her cruise to the Western Caribbean. Join her (virtually) as she sips margaritas and salsas her way through Cozumel, growls a few “arghs” at the Pirate Week Festival in Grand Cayman, and braves a few active adventures in Jamaica. And as a little lagniappe at the end of the week, Royal Caribbean is bringing country crooner Martina McBride onboard for a private concert — and we’ll be there to dish about the crowd, the vibe, her new album and what it’s like to hear a Nashville favorite on a cruise ship stage .

I had to look up “lagniappe.” Something new learned today!

We were on the Voyager last month on the Adriatic cruise and it was the best vacation we ever took. Food was great, shows were great, Meet and Mingle was fun…all in all, a memorable trip. My tip–go to the Quest game show and participate!!!
