Video: Now That’s a Cruise Ship Flash Mob

Flash mob notoriety is a numbers game. So when we spotted this video showing a 1,500-passenger mob on Carnival Paradise‘s sun deck, we were impressed (max occupancy is a touch over 2,600).
This wasn’t an ordinary cruise. The flash mob was organized and choreographed by Phoenix-based Celebrity Dance Competitions, which holds two “Nationals at Sea” events every summer (compete in a regional competition and you qualify for the nationals). Those associated with the dance group accounted for about 1,000 passengers (according to CDC), which means hundreds of Joe and Jane Carnivals got in on the action.
