Live From Carnival Magic: Beer’s Here!

The Thirsty Frog Red Ale dilemma has croaked. Patrons at the RedFrog Pub aboard Carnival Magic rejoiced this afternoon when the uber-popular home brew made a reappearance in Messina, Sicily, after the cruise’s entire supply was tapped out after one day. The photo above shows one of the pub’s bartenders on Thursday evening during the hot spot’s sunset celebration pouring . . . what else? And more good luck: As Magic was positioned near Stromboli en route to Naples, the island’s active volcano put on an extraordinary show by belching smoke and lava as the ship approached. Even cruise director John Heald was at a loss for words. The gods must be happy.
