Review for a World Cruise Cruise on MSC Poesia

We booked the world cruise for 116 nights but are home now after the horror show put up by this cruise company. We decided to come back in 80days because, the ship kept on running out of food. No choice for vegetarians except for salad (which is good for cows not human being). Ran out of fruit juices. Cancelled 10ports. Food if ever it was available it was inedible as it was under cooked. ...

Wetherspoons at sea.

Wetherspoons at sea. First cruise with p&o since 2019. Cannot believe the decline in standards. No cabin service in the evening, rationing butter in the restaurants, stained carpets, tatty furnishings, ship was permanently cold (had to wear a coat in the lounges) staff very rushed. Poor information on ports. I did inform guests service of all of the above and to be honest they weren't very ...

Pros are supposed to go before cons, so I will put the positives first, but please don’t miss the negatives later in this review, because although there were a few redeeming qualities, make no mistake, I would never sail with MSC again. First positive, all the staff below the managerial level deserve to be commended for being true, if not powerless, delights. We had many wonderful interactions ...

Please never book MSC

If I could give no stars I would. I joined a world cruise with MSC and have had nothing but frustration and grievances. If you are a parent I highly suggest considering another cruise line. A child was assaulted by an adult passenger and when the parents filed a complaint after bringing him to the medical center, nothing was done but a warning. The baby pool on the cruise was under maintenance ...

WORSE WORLD CRUISE EVER- MSC IS THE WORST CRUISE COMPANY

Review for a World Cruise Cruise on MSC Poesia

We are currently on this terrible cruise Over 500 people on board have signed a petition protesting the way MSC are treating us. 1. So many sea days Change of itinerary increasing itinerary to an extra 20 sea days, less port times, and no compensation for these changes or refunds of tax and port fees. As compared to other cruise companies such as Cunard, princess, costa etc who have ...

MSC said the ship was refurbished in 2023 and they must be talking about the exterior of the ship. The public stairs lot dated with the teal and chocolate motif. The cabins are either navy or bordello red. The furniture in the cabin is worn, sun bleached and dated, think 90’s. Dining options are limited. There is the main dining room offering a selection of reoccurring average to say the best ...

We chose this world cruise excited to visit some of our bucket list destinations. While visiting Egypt became impossible due to conflict in the region we were still thrilled we would be going to Rhodes. But not to be. More than half the cruise has been made up of sea days with substandard destinations. Food has bern appalling with regular absence of fresh fruit, salad and now no coffee available ...

The German sure know how to cruise and how to get their money's worth.

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Mein Schiff

It may have been somewhat of a gamble to cruise on Mein Schiff 3, from a German port (Bremerhaven) that isn't even listed on CruiseCritic ... but we sure enjoyed it and would do it again in a flash. My wife and I are Belgian, so we understand German and speak it a little - but we are far from fluent. Then again, we reasoned that a lot of the staff- and crewmembers would not exactly be native ...

Booked a European cruise that sailed out of Southhampton in October. First the good. The meals were good. The Garden Cafe buffet was actually good with a variety and selection that pleased multiple tastes. We also enjoyed the the food at Cagney's and Moderno. They make good food for specialty diners. The crew were very friendly and attentive to doing great service in housekeeping, food, ...

First of all I would like to say that we are both Diamond Cunard World Club members. We were passengers in Princess Grill on the short segment from Southampton to Hamburg October 20-22, 2023. This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had on a Cunard ship. This was our 12th sailing on QM2 and 34th cruise with Cunard. QM2 was scheduled to enter dry dock the morning we arrived in Hamburg. I ...
