The cabin was comfortable, well organised and clean. We had issues with the toilet not working on 2 days, however we were offered an alternative cabin for the night and all was solved the following morning. We particularly liked the decor of the room, and the soft furnishing looked new. The view althoug partially obstructed was lovely and we enjoyed it. Read entire member review >>
Our cabin was fine, we had a superior outside but to be honest I still do not know what was superior about it other that it was on a higher deck. We did find 25 Brazilian real under one of the beds which told us a lot about the cabin steward as the ship had returned from Brazil 2 weeks prior to our cruise. I shudder at the thought of what else was not cleaned properly, fortunately I take antibacterial cleaning wipes with me on a cruise and go over the bathroom and any handles and tops etc in the cabin. The decorative cushions on the beds stink and need changing, I hated coming back to the room to find the steward had put them on the bed. Read entire member review >>
Fantastic access to the staircase and therefore the rest of the ship.
Excellent picture window and view.
The tea/coffee making facility in the cabin was very useful and used a lot.
Good size shower.
Plenty of storage space.
Toiletries were sparse.
TV did not have any Olympics coverage at all which was disappointing. We did not want to watch all day but wanted to keep up with the precis of each day. Read entire member review >>
A grade B superior outside cabin with large picture window on the main deck. Reasonable size cabin very well fitted and plenty of storage and wardrobe space. Very comfortable beds, Good en suite with good sized shower Read entire member review >>
Initially we were in cabin 4046, but since the window began to leak quite badly during a rough night, we were grudgingly moved to 8012.
4046 is quiet, but small, with 2 bunks, not a bed, adequate wardrobe space and a fairly decent bathroom with tub.
8012 was much larger, with larger window, a bed, and 2 small hard tub chairs. Location was excellent, very quiet, and the large window had a diagonal obstruction from the bridge exterior stairway. Read entire member review >>
Cabin 8020 was really nice. It would probably be a bit too small for a long journey but was very comfortable. There was some noise from the Neptune Lounge below during the evening shows but this wasn't too bad and didn't go on too late. We particularly liked having a bath. We would have liked a fridge to keep fresh milk in for coffee and tea. I guess you get on in a more expensive cabin. Our cabin stewardess was especially nice and helpful. Read entire member review >>
Our first outside cabin with window! We normally have inside cabins because all you need them for is to sleep, get changed and wash. However we enjoyed our first outside cabin experience because we could see when it was light in the morning,we saw passing traffic (usually the Indy of the seas overtaking us) and this one had a bath which was a pleasant surprise and used often. Two
wo wardrobe areas him n hers if you like and a bountiful amount of draw space. Two single beds, don't know whether they could be pushed together, probably not.Kettle and tea/coffee stuff,TV good for reviewing your on board account and booking tours, hairdryer in bathroom plus a bag of creams, shampoos and a mending kit, bottled water supplied but you pay for that(£1.50).
