Could have been laid out better as one of the beds had no bedside table (L shaped configuration).
Because of the problems the bathroom was regularly cleaned and the linen changed, but the carpet wasn't vacuumed at all during our stay and the table base thick with dust. NOT BLAMING THE LADY WHO CLEANED, she just didn't have enough time to do a thorough job! Read entire member review >>
The cabin was spacious for single accommodation and contained all essentials. It showed some signs of wear and tear (scuffed corners on cupboards and furnishings, discolouration around the window frames and worn-away chrome on the bathroom fittings) but these in no way impaired the use or enjoyment of the facilities. It was good to have tea/coffee making facilities in cabin and a large window, albeit in need of a regular clean to remove the sea spray. The bed was comfortable and the duvet very warm so I aimed to turn the thermostat to its lowest level to avoid overheating. The safe was large enough for a 10" tablet and cameras. The bathroom in the cabin was awful cracked tiles and vanity units. Don't what we would have had if we weren't upgraded!!
The door of the cabin had to be checked when we left the cabin as it did not close properly. Every morning there was noise outside our cabin I think they were cleaning the outside of the Ship!! Could this not have been done before we boarded. Read entire member review >>
Cabin numbers above 4150 are noisy and this gets worse as you move back to 4175, presumably on both sides of this ship. You cannot hear yourself talk when the ship is under power and the TV has to be on volume 60 to hear it. Leaving breakables on the shelves is a danger as they WILL fall on the floor in time as the intense vibration gets to them and you. Read entire member review >>
This was obviously a family room as bunk beds were folded back against the wall and there was a shower over a bath. Plenty of drawers and wardrobe room. If there were a family in here they would be very cramped especially with the top bunks down. Read entire member review >>
4170 - cabin on deck 4 very near the stern of the ship. A spacious cabin with lots of drawers and stowage space. But when the ship is coming in and out of port and revving its engines, the cabin is very noisy and experiences a lot of vibration. Read entire member review >>
Roomy (was for 4) - lots of storage space, scruffy and shabby fixtures and fittings, new-ish carpets and curtains, horrible bath with wear/stains on bottom and lifting anti slip adhesive strips, lots of bad corrosion on the window frames and rust and water staining between the part glazed units. Flat screen TV was Ok but the choice of free programmes was rubbish - OK if you wanted to learn from Discovery channel how to re-roof your convertible or were into motorbikes, some free movies, all others you had to pay for unless you were isolated with norovirus, in which case the movies were free. All in all not worth the money, needs a total re-furb. Read entire member review >>

It therefore stands to reason that they will have a favorite cruise line or port of call -- in other words, they are "fans" and will sometimes take offense when a brand new member has arrived on the scene to bash a cruise line.
