This trip was from January 5th to16th in the Eastern Caribbean. We gave Azamara Onward a 3 out of 5 for good reasons. Azamara used to have excellent food and complimentary wines. Now, that has all changed since we last cruised on them at the beginning of 2022. Less expensive cuts of meat are now used - - beef, lamb, veal, and poultry resulting in tougher meat entrees; and now only 6 ...
Last April I booked this cruise whilst on the Azamara pursuit. I got a good price in a premium suite. My cabin was comfortable the butler excellent and Wi-Fi the best experienced on any previous cruise. The food was ok. The premium restaurants were included in my cost, however for those for whom it wasn’t the additional cost is not worth it. The service was sometimes very slow and when full ...

We always cruise over the Holidays and out of approx. 30 cruises taken so far, this was our 3rd Azamara Cruise and first on the supposedly all "new" Azamara Onward.
The Good:
Mostly very friendly staff and crew. Good Housekeeping and our Cabin Attendant (Jonel) was excellent!
Food & presentation good. The Captain and Executive Chef, F&B Managers and Supervisors very visible. ...
We loved our 2019 Journey cruise so we were looking forward to a similar experience. Check in in Miami was flawless. Our balcony cabin was cramped, as we expected from earlier cruise. The big disappointment was the balcony. Very uncomfortable stark gray plastic chairs (knife edge style arms!) with a gray dining height table. We called it the interrogation cell with a view and ended up not spending ...
It was our first cruise with AZAMARA ("Onward") and this is our overall impression:
Positive:
The "Onward" is fully renovated and in a good condition.
In all areas the whole staff makes a fantastic job - professional, exceptionally prudent and friendly without exception
(Our waiter BLAISE in the "Spirit" bar made the best job ever).
Very good to excellent food.
Quality of the ...
We chose this cruise based on my wife & daughter's previous Azamara cruise (to Cuba 4+ years ago) and their positive experience with Azamara. Our cruise was 10 days with 4 days at sea. We chose the Continent Suite (entry level suite) and were very happy with the cabin. Our Butler "George" and Cabin Attendant (forgot his name) were GREAT. Excellent and friendly service across the board ...
We chose Azamara based on the size of the ship and the inclusions and a friends experience many years ago. We have cruised Holland America, Celebrity, Windstar, Seabourn, Norwegian, Carnival and MSC. Large mega ships have no appeal anymore especially as our children are adults. We went with the hopes that this would become our cruise line of choice going forward as the itineraries were also ...
Pre-cruise we spent an enjoyable evening dining and walking around the Lincoln Road Mall, and afterward driving around the South Beach area observing the nightlife. We had done neither of those activities before.
Given the required testing added a significant layer to the process, boarding the Azamara Quest was straightforward and smooth.
Azamara Quest: The ship is in good shape, needs ...
This is our third cruise on the Quest. It is quite worrying taking your Covid test before being allowed to board - luckily from arrival to being on the ship took 35 minutes and went very smoothly.
It was so nice to be back on board after 3 years. As usual all the staff were very friendly and efficient and make the whole cruise experience very special. We were cruising the Caribbean for the next ...
