Celebrity Equinox Backward Cruise Photos: The Ship

Celebrity Equinox's last day in Papenburg was windy, which left many of us wondering if the conveyance would actually take place – weather conditions have to be just right in order for the tugs to successfully move the mega-ship backward along the 26 miles of river. In this case, the wind worked in our favor, blowing more water from the North Sea into the River Ems. Because of the ship's draft, high tide is a necessary component.
