One of the most impressive features of Seabourn Odyssey is the amount of outdoor space. You can really see it in this stern shot -- every deck from 5 (the lowest in the picture) to 10 (the highest, with the rounded skylight feature) has open space aft. Working upwards, Deck 5 has a pool and two whirlpools and leads into The Club, the ship's cocktail lounge and casino. This pool area will be used for parties under the stars. Deck 6 will have a quiet area with loungers. (Scroll down below the photo for more info on Decks 7, 8, 9 and 10).
Deck 7 aft is the outdoor section of Seabourn Square, a new concept for Seabourn and for luxury cruising in general. There's no reception desk on this ship. but rather an entire concierge lounge with and Internet cafe, library and coffee bar (which also serves cocktails), as well as roving concierges who will sort out shore excursions and future cruise sales. Outside Seabourn Square, there will be rattan deck furniture where you can take a morning cappuccino.
Deck 8 aft is The Colonnade, the informal dining venue, with plenty of outdoor seating and romantic dining under the stars, while Decks 9 and 10 comprise the huge, two-deck spa, the biggest in the ultra-luxury cruise market, complete with waterfall (the white-covered circle in the picture), outdoor treatment areas and an indoor thalassotherapy pool.
