What's This About?: Your chance to win a trip to visit a new cruise ship while still at its shipyard has begun! Celebrity U.K.'s unique promotion around the under-construction Celebrity Eclipse -- a Twitter contest in which people must convince Celebrity Cruises to let them come along -- offers the chance at a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Twitter, the micro-blogging social networking site, limits communiques to 140 characters (not words, characters) per message. So you have to write a compelling "tweet" to capture Celebrity in less than 140 characters.
The Prize: Celebrity Cruises is offering one winner and their guest the chance to win a trip to visit soon-to-launch Celebrity Eclipse at the Meyer Werft Shipyard in Papenburg, Germany, where activities will include a tour of the shipyard; an overnight on Celebrity Eclipse as it travels 26 miles backward, from the shipyard to Eemshaven, Netherlands and a chance to hobnob with Celebrity executives.
How to Enter: To enter, log onto Twitter, go to the @CelebrityUK Twitter feed and tell them in a tweet exactly why you should win. Remember, no more than 140 characters! The tweets will be judged by Celebrity's Jo Briody, @CruiseCriticUK editors and @CaptGreybeard, also known as John Honeywell, the Daily Mirror's cruise man.
