And now, knitters can celebrate the 2015 New Year while cruising the Danube River on AmaWaterways' Knitting New Year's Cruise. Departing from Germany on December 27, the cruise aboard AmaBella -- hosted by textile expert and owner of Trendsetter Yarns in Los Angeles, Barry Klein -- will feature the latest luxury yarns, fashion trends, classes, patterns and techniques. Also offered will be excursions such as guided tours of Vilshofen, Linz, Vienna, Bratislava, Budapest and Melk Abbey. To ring in the New Year, passengers will enjoy a celebration with music, dancing and a champagne toast at midnight. Fares start at $2,799 per person.

Details: Crafting Cruises has a lineup of various theme cruises for 2015. All onboard Royal Caribbean ships, passengers can enjoy a variety of themed classes, private workspaces, prizes, giveaways and more. Themed sailings include the 11-night 6th Annual Scrapbook Cruise through the South Pacific departing January 20 on Radiance of the Seas (fares start at $1,370.83 for an inside cabin); the 11-night 4th Annual Quilt Cruise to New Zealand from February 22 on Voyager of the Seas (fares start at $1,667.66 plus a class fee); the 11-night 3rd Annual Stamping Cruise to New Zealand kicking off February 22 on Radiance of the Seas (fares start at $1,501.62); and the 7-night Alaskan Quilt Cruise departing September 4 on Radiance of the Seas (fares start at $1,673.66). Each cruise also bears a class fee in addition to the fare.
