Our cabin steward gave us two bags and two copies of the schedule each day so we could each have one. The room was technically a quad, so it was quite spacious for the two of us. We were disappointed to see only one outlet - I guess that comes with our expectations now with hotels having multiple outlets. The water temperature in the shower tended to fluctuate and didn't always stay hot throughout our showers, but if that was the least our problems, we were good!
We had one incident with a pipe bursting somewhere and flooding our bathroom, but we were able to get ahold of someone and they were able to fix it immediately. Read entire member review >>
Cabin was plenty large enough for a couple. Had a very convertible King size bed. Had sufficient closet space to store luggage, nice bathroom, sufficient drawers for clothing storage, and hanging closet for other clothes. We always had fresh ice any we left the cabin and came back, and trash was always emptied. And things straightened up. I think the young lady in charge of our Cabin was Christina, and she was very good at her job, and very friendly. Read entire member review >>
This room had a fantastic view. I was able to sit in the window and watch whales fluke right out my window!
The only bad portion was the water temperature issues that were experienced on our entire section of the ship. Read entire member review >>
I prefer Princess layout with the closet/dressing area and a shower instead of a tub, but there is more closet space in HAL's layout. Underbed storage for suitcases and the drawers are always forgotten about if people aren't aware of them. The carpet was new, and the beds comfortable, some wear is noticed, but otherwise they are clean staterooms, the pink tile in the bathrooms is dated. Not having a fridge is a drawback, but the icebucket was filled daily, sometimes even twice, without asking, and we had a complimentary SBP that mitigated that issue. Only one US plug can be a problem if you don't travel with an extension cord with extra plugs for all the electronic gadgets, but there is a second hair dryer provided that uses the UK plug, if the hair dryer in the bathroom isn't up to speed. anice location, middle of ship on the starboard side, the cabin was a little smaller than we have had in same catagory on other ships, but adequate. lots of closet space. the shampoos, body wash, and conditioner are now on the wall.
I didn't like their hair dryers, but brought my own. Our cabin stewards were very attentive and filled up our rolling ice chest every day. I had lost an earring in the bed, it was sitting on my bedside table the next am.
Our cabin had it's carpets cleaned on of the days we were on board, the carpet was damp for a while, but posed no problem. I was dissapointed to not see the towel monkey this trip!! Read entire member review >>
Lots of closet space, family of four had enough space for all of our clothes for 7-Day Cruise There is a lot of traffic near the cabin, since you are near the medical office and also near the Housekeeping office. However there was never any noise to deal with, sometimes just more crew members then usual in the area. Read entire member review >>
