We booked a guaranteed cabin because Royal Caribbean did not have a Superior Oceanview Stateroom at the time we made the reservation but we were very lucky to get a very large and beautiful cabin.

I had room 6718; balcony.
There are 2 entries into the ship from the hallways; same at every floor: front and back lobby. Here are the lifts and the stair cases.
If you have the choice: get a room close to the lobby, any lobby; it will pay off, as you might have to walk up to 60 meters every time you get to your room.
Level 6 is the lowest balcony level. It means that you don’t have to take any stairs (more than 1 level), to go to most of the things on the bottom of the ship. Level 8: park you can also do with stairs. If you are on level 10-13, you will have view from higher up; but every time you will need to take the lift to go to 15-16 (pools etc) or 5,6,8.
Rooms are ok for 2 people. It might feel to small if you have children in the room. Balconies are fine: you can sit there with two people to enjoy the view or relax a bit; unless your neighbor smokes; because you’ll smell it.

Room was adequate but closet space has gotten smaller. Glass on balcony had so much sea spray we could not see!

We liked the room very much. We were near the elevator but never heard any noise. The seas were come and we only ever felt the gentlest of rocking. Generally we prefer midship or aft, this one was near the bow, but fine.

We love having an oceanside balcony so that we can listen to the waves. It was a good size with comfortable beds and pillows and plenty of storage space for us.

Great Getaway angelvoice

Cabin was larger than our balcony rooms on other Royal ships. Bed was by the balcony. Large closet and decent sized bathroom. Good view from the balcony. No noise heard in the hallway, but could sometime hear the TV on in the adjoining stateroom. 10th deck is a great deck to be on because the elevators were often busy, so you could easily walk down the stairs to the entertainment on decks 5 and 6. You could also easily walk up to the pool deck (deck 15).

There were 3 of us in this room and it was definitely crowded. Luckily we didn't spend much time in there and we tried to get ready in shifts whenever possible. The closet by the bed is very inconvenient. And it was impossible to keep the room tidy because there just wasn't enough room for all of our stuff. Thank goodness for the balcony! We had 3 rooms together for our group and requested the balcony dividers be removed - very convenient for visiting/borrowing someone else's shower ;-) The room would have been fine for just 2 people. Our room attendant - Floyd was very sweet and helpful.

Bigger than anticipated, great balcony, aft of ship and all the way down the hallway so it was a long walk to get to the elevator/stairs.

After having several bad experiences with our cabin location on other cruises, I am very careful to check deck plans to see what is above and below me. If possible, try to avoid pool decks above. But definitely avoid nightclubs & theaters above OR below. On this cruise, we were in cabin 14304 (port side balcony, deck 14, below the putting green). If you like to get a little sun on your balcony, avoid deck 14. There is an overhang of about 10-12 feet that extends out and blocks the sun most of the day. Drop down to deck 12 or lower for a sunny balcony. We typically book Jr Suites, so this seemed small. However, the bathroom was somewhat larger than most other ships. There was also room under the bed for our largest suitcases. Very helpful!

Cabin was small. We couldn't hide all of our luggage. Oceanview is unobstructed. If you are next to a smoker you will get it really bad. Linens were very nice though!! Check out the interactive TV. Awesome.

Our cabin was really good. We were close to an exit and I thought it would be noisy, but the cabins are quite soundproof. The balcony was nice.

Great layout - sofa and vanity near balcony; bed near bath. Much better use of space than on previous cruises.

We had a D-3 balcony cabin on deck 8 (8212). Storage under the bed and in the cabinets and closets were more than adequate for the 3 of us. It was a bit tight by the balcony when the couch was made up for sleeping, but the bathroom was nice and with the couch closed there was plenty of room to move around. It would probably be better if the main bed was by the balcony. Also the main bed was one of the most comfortable we have slept in. (My wife wanted to take it home)
