Ocean view balcony with beds pushed together to make a king bed. Overall cleanliness was great, and condition of the cabin was very good. There was a lot of space to put clothes in cubbies, and hanging up. There was extra space under the bed for suitcases. I'd recommend bringing water bottles on board and keeping it in your cabin. Evian water is 4 for $18. They don't come with separate bottles of shampoo/conditioner, but they have a dispenser in the shower for a combination, and provide a bath soap. I asked the stateroom attendant for additional shampoo/conditioner/lotion and was able to get this. This room also comes with 4 outlets - 3 above the counter, and one underneath. They do confiscate surge protectors when going through the FLL port security check point. You get a tag to pick it up when you return to port of entry. There are no outlets in the bathroom.
The TV in this stateroom has an HDMI cable input, bring one if you'd like to connect your devices to project on the bigger screen. It also has a swing out to have better viewing capability on the bed instead of the couch.
Also, if you have adjoined staterooms, you can ask guest services to open the door between and the balcony as well. This gives more room between the rooms and accessibility. Read entire member review >>
Cabin was spacious plenty of storage, bathroom was typical Euro functional design.
We were worried about location but it was great...end of the fwd starboard hallway but short distance to elevators and spa entrance. Able to use stairway to Amber Theater, Promenade or Casino. If promenade was crowded we could take the LONG walk down the hallway and again down the stairway to the Boardwalk and dinning rooms.
Ship movement was more sail push (tilt) and not dolphin-ing (up/dwn). The seas were calm 4 foot at best for most of the trip but the cross wind and a 19 deck x 1186 ft ship has a lot of sail surface to push. The last evening we were heading into bad weather and the seas were 10 ft maybe and the ship felt better than the high cross wind days. Read entire member review >>
The cabin was a good size and we enjoyed the balcony. The only problem was the cabin was across from a service door and the door would bang shut all during the night and wake us up. Read entire member review >>
Very nice room, plenty of storage space and good sized balcony. Also in a good location since it is mid-ship and Central Park is on the same floor. Would definitely book this room again. Read entire member review >>
. I had booked a stateroom with outside balcony, which I
Would have enjoyed much more if it had been clean, had hot water in the shower,
No stains on the sofa and had the promised amenities. Which was poor enough from the beginning. A shampoo from a dispenser,a piece of soap and a bathrobe. After 2 days it did not seem to come So I phoned and asked, the answer was "if we have you will get, but only when your room lady starts to work again in about 2 h." They also came and repaired the shower.
The worst was the last morning, I was waken up about 4.45am of water pouring out inside the stateroom. I went to the bathroom and it was a broken pipe who went to the toilet. I phoned maintenance and she would send someone. Meanwhile the bathroom got full of water very quickly and I phoned again. The answer was "it is only 7 minutes since you phoned and we have only one man on duty". This is a ship that had 6237 passengers
And one man on duty. The one man came after 15 min.He repaired the pipe and changed what was weet.
I do not understand why this cabins can not be checked properly before the passengers arrive!! Read entire member review >>
The cabin was clean and orderly except the carpet. the state room attendant was extremely friendly and got what we needed. the cabin was beyond small, too small, we wish we had checked it before booking. the air conditioning stunk, the bed was flat the pillows were flat. there were not enough drawers for clothing. no place for luggage except under bed which made it worse. The wifi in the room horrible! voom is a joke! our stateroom attendant sam was a shining star for the most part... Not sure why the carpet always seemed unvacuumed. sam did everything we asked with no delay, we tipped extra. perhaps the carpets just need to be replaced? dont book this room unless you like shoe boxes with no space, a flat bed and flat cheap pillows. The size of the stateroom was average and it boasts a decent balcony. We were on the starboard side. As a family of 4, having the sofa bed out at night made it challenging to navigate the room (very tight between the bed and dresser, tough to get to the balcony). Would be nice if the room had bunk beds for the kids instead. The shower was a decent size and overall the bathroom was nice. There was plenty of closet space, but could have used more drawer space. The luggage stored nicely beneath the bed, which was convenient! I didn't like that the door opens into the hallway--always felt like I would hit someone and actually did get hit by the neighbor's door one day. Our stateroom steward was kind and courteous, leaving towel animals in the room at night.
Our stateroom location was great--starboard side and aft. My only complaint is that, despite its enormous size, the Allure has only two sets of elevators (forward and aft), so there is a hike to the stateroom when you are staying so far back like we were. Not a huge deal for us because we have no limitations, but if you have mobility issues you might prefer to stay closer to the elevators. Read entire member review >>
Stateroom was adequate. We had 3 in the room and it was cramped and lacked storage. We were constantly doing what I called the "around the bed shuffle." Since there is only about 15 inches between the end of the bed and the wall, we constantly found ourselves stepping aside to allow one person to pass by the end of the bed before the other could pass. This was even worse at the closet. Only one person could access the closet at a time and since this is the only real storage in the room, it was a bit annoying. The bathroom was small with the shower being tiny. I am not a large person but found myself banging my elbows into the sides of the shower regularly. The third person in the room was living out of their suitcase due to the lack of storage. The other annoying problem with the room in the era of technology is the lack of power outlets. with only three outlets and 3 people with smartphones, tablets, laptops, the hairdryer, and other styling appliances, we were constantly pulling the plugs on each others devices for our own. The mattress on the king/twin bed was lumpy and felt of low quality. The convertible couch folded down and they simply tossed sheets and a blanket on top, which never stayed in place, like what you might do on a futon. Overall the room was ok but thought it would have been so much better if they would have given it another 24 inches in width but that would sacrifice way to many rooms to get the space. Nicely laid out. Little cramped when the sofa was made into a full bed, for our grand sons.
We had the larger deck, so it was easy for all 4 of us to be out there at the same time sitting at a table.
The bathroom was good sized and didn't have any issues with it at all.
Closet space was ample, lots of storage. Suitcases stored under the bed, as usual.
Our room steward was Made, and he was always around and very attentive.
First time I've been on a ship where I was able to find a plug for my CPAP machine. It was just behind the bed, where the phone plugs in. Didn't have to use any extension cord on this one. Read entire member review >>
I was fortunate that I got a balcony for only $200 more than an interior. I loved the cabin, layout, and all the space. It was nice to have it all to myself. Plus 2 of my friends were 2 doors down. Read entire member review >>
Cabin: We had 12624... ocean balcony. The room was quite comfortable for 2. Bed very comfortable, sofa, coffee table. Bathroom has a good amount of storage. Lots of closet and adequate drawers. NOTE: only shampoo and bar soap provided. No conditioner or shower gel as some ships have. The balcony was quiet, but often too hot. Also in port, our views were mostly of industrial ports. We could use it in the evening but really too hot on this summer cruise during the day.
Our kids ( 22-34 years old) had adjoining cabins on deck 11 overlooking Central park. I loved these cabins. It is definitely quieter there, and they still get the sky and a fair amount of breezes. And the sun did not heat up their room/ balcony like ours. Their steward opened the dividers between their balconies for them.
I liked our location as we were midway between the 2 elevator/ stair banks. Read entire member review >>
Cabin was ok, clean and with enough closet space for the three of us (me, DH and DS - 17). A bit thight in the evening when the sofa bed was out, but otherwise ok. As we had 3 cabins in a row we had the dividers on the balcony partly removed, and it felt so much bigger.
Bed very nice, good pillows. Only wish we could each have our own top sheet, as we are not used to share a big one, and DH tends to use more than his share :)
Our son was happy on the sofa bed, but as he is almost 6 feet tall, he was a bit too long for the bed, he didn't mind though. Read entire member review >>
The cabin was fine but a little smaller than most and very little storage. We had a great cabin steward and he was in and out of our room twice daily, keeping it spotless and bringing us fresh linens and ice. We enjoyed the outside balcony and got some great pictures as we went into each new port. Read entire member review >>
Great cabin with nice size balcony. Our room steward, Noel was the best!! Made us towel animals on 3 different occasions and often used my husbands sunglasses as a prop. Cabin was quiet and a good location especially for our son who used the sport court quite a bit. Read entire member review >>
The room was fantastic and since we were on the 8th floor we were close to everything. The rooms are extremely quiet and you don't hear your neighbors. Sure the room is a bit small but hey it is a cruise ship! For 2 people the room was great! (for 3 it might be tight) Read entire member review >>
Our balcony stateroom was tight - the rounded bed took a lot of room. Closet space was ok. Bathroom shower was just fine, and we are not small people. Balcony was comfortable. No noise. A good room. Read entire member review >>
Loved our room! Right around the corner from the elevators so was easy to find. Mid ship so nothing was too far away. Loved the balcony and used it a lot! It was on the starboard side and the side the ship always docked on so we had lots of things to see! The only bad thing it was a connecting room and we could hear their tv when it was on and they would allow the main door to slam shut which would vibrate the connecting room door and was a bit loud. Location was good, close enough to go up or down! Would book room again! Read entire member review >>
Great location, center ship, Deck 10, away from elevators and noise. Absolute space utilization, somewhat tight, tiny shower, good use of shelves, drawers, hanging space. Good balcony. Read entire member review >>
My stateroom was 12180. Not the best room to take because there is a water/sewage/drainage pipe next to the balcony door. if you leave the door open for fresh air you will hear water flushing down the pipe. Balcony size is decent unless you are a couple of 300 pounders.
The room itself is quite because my neighbors are elderly people without young kids. Closet size is adequate. Bed is way too soft. Time to replace the mattress (if RCCL is reading) please. The bed is next to the closet and the soft is on the balcony side. Not my preference but this is the way it is set up and you can't change that. Next time, I'd pick another room where the bed is next to the balcony.
12180 isn't too far away from the elevators so it was quite quiet until some kids screaming and running in the hallway. Read entire member review >>
10718 has a tiny closet, but good for 2 people, the room is recommended for 2 persons, would not recommend for more than 2. Good size balcony with ocean view. Great location because it is on the same side as most of the attractions: main dining room, windjammer, carousel, aqua-theater, Mexican restaurant, johnny rockets, chops, etc etc.)
I would definitely stay towards the middle to rear of the ship. I would definitely select ocean balcony because the other balconies look towards other rooms, so less privacy. Read entire member review >>
We had 10622 which was an ocean balcony on the starboard side in the middle of the ship and our friends were right next to us in 10620. We liked the location of these cabins.
Another hint is that if you ask your stateroom attendant they will open up the divider on the balconies making a much bigger space to enjoy.
My DD was in cabin 10629 which was a Central Park balcony. This balcony is probably twice as big as the other ones and has two tables and 4 chairs on it. Read entire member review >>
Our cabin was a standard balcony. The closet was okay, but the general storage around the cabin was not really good. The little table that are at your bedside are inadequate. We had to purchase a an item from a catalog company to hold our glasses, key card, etc. so that these items did not get lost on the floor. No bedspreads is the best idea ever. The bathroom was adequate. Our location was right off of the forward elevators and it was quiet and we loved to relax on the balcony. I like to have sheer curtains that can be closed when in port or to block out the sun. Only the inside balconies (Central Park and Boardwalk) have the second layer of sheers. When you are in port with another ship beside you, you lose your privacy and need to close the room-darkening curtains. Sometimes a cost-cutting idea is a REALL BAD IDEA! Read entire member review >>
The location of our cabin was great, no noise. The size was about the same as other ships we have been on before. Could have used a few more drawers for storage, but managed. Read entire member review >>
The room was bigger than expected. I really liked the shower. We did hear some noise below us, it sounded like a dish washer or washing machine. The balcony was awesome, we had an ocean view, so it was very private. Read entire member review >>
The balcony was small. I would have preferred a lounge chair to standard chairs and a table. For two over packers there was space for everything. The temperature varied more than expected. Read entire member review >>
The 11th floor is great. Very quiet. Balcony stateroom is comfortable and without the sofa, there was more
than enough space. Could hear kids in suite next door through the inter-leading door, though. Closet space fine, bathroom a bit small, but adequate. Read entire member review >>
