The ideal candidate will have an excellent understanding of social media, experience creating strategic social media programs, and the ability to track effectiveness in order to refine and develop social initiatives. This role requires an adept communicator and marketer, capable of using each channel appropriately and to its full potential, while maintaining brand consistency for each site.
- Propose, develop and implement strategies for social media channels
- Manage day-to-day social media activity, monitor and analyze
- Coordinate with other departments on strategy development and program implementation
- Partner with marketing team on partnerships and promotions to include a social component
- Identify new opportunities, propose themes and promotions, develop and source content, coordinates scheduling across groups.

Cruise Critic is looking for a production assistant who has interest and experience in Web publishing who can launch content, create innovative alternative story formats and improve our story display.
The ideal candidate will have an excellent understanding of HTML and CSS, and the ability to work with little supervision. This role requires an adept communicator who can work with great speed while still maintaining an eye for detail. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in an online environment, though entry-level candidates with superior internship qualifications will be considered.
- Launch all new content for Cruise Critic.
- Use Photoshop to resize, crop and retouch photos as needed, upload to database.
- Create web pages, post and update news articles, reviews, features and destination content, adding appropriate web links.
- Create alternative story formats for better display of content.
- Design layouts for new web pages and editorial sections.
- Perform regular sweeps of launched content with a keen eye for database and content errors and inconsistencies.
- Restyle existing content to align with current style changes.
- Assist with special projects and other assignment as needed.
